I chose a stamp set and some colours that I thought would work, but struggled with it. I'm still not that happy with the outcome — perhaps a different choice of stamps and colours might have made things easier. I wasn't going to post it, but the last two cards I made for the OLW challenges didn't end up on my blog for the same reason! So, here it is...
Paper: Naturals Ivory
Ink: Basic Black, Cajun Craze, Soft Suede
I stamped the background image in Soft Suede and then positioned each of the other images over the top. That way the images, which form a "visual triangle", are tied together and don't appear to be floating around on the page.
I think it's great how you 'grounded' the rooster and tied all the elements together!
ReplyDeleteAwww, I love this! I think you totally rocked the challenge!
ReplyDeleteGreat job and thanks for playing along with OLW38!
Love the rooster...a really cute card!
ReplyDeleteOh Yay, I found you again Shelley! I think I was once a follower of yours but I pushed a button I wasn't meant to on the computer and poof, there you were - gone! Love this card, the rooster looks fab coloured in.
ReplyDeleteI think it looks good - love the chook!
ReplyDeleteHow can you not be happy with this!?!?!?! It's wonderful!
