As soon as I saw this week's Clean And Simple sketch, I was inspired and had to go make something. I had a couple of ideas, but wanted to start with this one. Red is my favourite colour after all!!
Stamps: Solid Stripes, En Français, Scribble (wheel), Heard from the Heart.Paper: Whisper White, Bravo Burgundy, Cherry Cobbler, Real Red, "Haiku" DSP (Tangerine Tango)
Ink: Versa Mark, Cherry Cobbler
Other: White Embossing Powder
I used Versa Mark to create the patterns on the coloured paper. I should have used the co-ordinating ink because when I went to emboss the sentiment, the powder stuck to the patterns — even though it had been drying for a while before I did it, and even though I smothered it all with the embossing buddy! Anyway, I managed to brush of most of it, but if you look closely, the sentiment has a few fuzzy edges!
